Lisa grew up in Woodstock, New York but is far from a hippie. She admits she was a bit of a princess for her
hometown and moved to Manhattan because Prada didn’t make a tie-dye. Lisa holds a bachelor’s degree from
Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. She graduated from the College of Arts and Sciences with a B.A. in
English, otherwise known as “I don’t know what to do with my life."
Lisa has been performing stand-up comedy for over a decade in comedy clubs throughout the country. Her
comedy explores dating, marriage, pregnancy, motherhood and every day observations. She has produced
comedy shows for both corporate and private events, including fundraisers, benefits, birthday parties and country
clubs. She is proud to have used her humor as an auctioneer, raising money for various philanthropies in New
York City, and has been a public speaker on the topic of humor’s effects on mental health. She performs her
brand of mommy humor, “Comedy from the Crib” at expectant mother events. Most recently, she is ecstatic for the
completion of her book on pregnancy and motherhood entitled Fat, Sober and Angry.
Lisa resides in Manhattan with her two favorite men: her husband Dave; a savvy business entrepreneur who
helped found Cosi sandwich bar, Marquis Jet, and Tour GCX Golf Partners; and her beautiful son Joshua, who
taught her to appreciate taking the journey fat, sober and angry.
